Salary: $19.88 per hour plus benefits (potential up to $31.87 per hour for internal transfers)

Education & Experience- Required: Associate’s degree or 48 semester hours of approved college credit, OR passing Work Keys exam.
- Preferred: Experience in a related field.
Summary / Objective: Supervises student conduct, instructs individual or small groups, supports school‑wide assessment, and performs clerical and other tasks.
Essential Functions- Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce instructional material presented by classroom teacher; assists with computer assignments and classroom activities; supports students’ access to curriculum.
- Instructs small groups in assigned content areas.
- Administers assessments and tests as assigned.
- Performs clerical duties: copying, laminating, record‑keeping, data entry, filing, cutting, and pasting.
- Uses technology for data entry and instruction, including interactive whiteboards, document cameras, Microsoft Office applications, and web‑based systems.
- Monitors students before, during and after school and implements school PBIS.
- Performs other duties as assigned; 90 % of time spent with students.
- Assists with lesson plans.
- Keeps long periods of sitting; manages distractions; possesses upper‑body strength to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of computer data entry, office procedures, reading, arithmetic, grammar, and spelling.
- Effective communication with students and district staff.
- Willingness to learn assistive technology software.
Perform other duties as assigned. Regular attendance is required.
