    Salary: Salary placement on our Certified Salary schedule is dependent on the employees’ education and/or work experience. Certified/licensed employees will be granted one (1) year for each full year of contractual and/or work experience up to a maximum of ten (10) years, which includes in-district and out-of-district contractual teaching and/or work experience. Responsibility for verification of outside experience shall rest with the individual employee.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    Summary/Objective:
    Provide an enriched atmosphere where students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible members of society. Facilitate learning and guide students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional and psychological growth and maturation. Responsible to the building principal and department director where assigned.

    The advanced manufacturing teacher will be a key player in the success of the advanced manufacturing pathway at Greeley Central High School. This individual will co-teach, develop and effectively implement the advanced manufacturing curriculum to ensure a relevant, authentic, and hands-on learning experience for all students. This individual will be responsible for engaging with industry to provide guidance for future program development, exposure to a variety of opportunities for students, and provide innovative teaching experiences that create an environment where students are comfortable taking risks and pushing themselves to the next level.

    In addition, the teacher will develop and promote positive and collaborative relationships with all district high schools, industry partners, and other community and stakeholder groups.

    This position isin the Advanced Manufacturing pathwayat Central High School. Knowledge ofprocess technology, AC/DC electricity, safety on the job site, programmable logic controllers & network interfacing to automate processespreferred.

    Essential Functions:
    • Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students;
    • Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students;
    • Maintains a discipline and classroom control that fosters a safe and positive environment for all student and staff in accordance with school and county policies;
    • Ensures adequate supervision to assure health, welfare, and safety of all students;
    • Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum standards, establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects, and communicates these objectives to students;
