Med Care Manager

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents safely, accurately, and with dignity, ensuring high-quality senior care.

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document all medication activities accurately and in real-time within MAR/TAR systems.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes, monitor symptoms, and respond to concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts in accordance with policies and maintain organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards to prevent errors and ensure resident safety.
• Report refusals, health changes, or concerns immediately.

• High School Diploma or GED, age 18+
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care

This role plays a critical part in preventing medication errors, early health change detection, and safeguarding resident well-being through attention to detail and compliance.
