• Provide overall contract administration, technical expertise, and support for a large or complex construction project.
"

• Oversee the development and implementation of the project safety plan, creating and influencing a safety culture on site.
"

• Ensure the project is constructed as per design, budget, resources, quality, and schedule.

• Understand client drivers and offer value‑engineering proposals for functionality, cost, and schedule benefit.

• Accountable for project performance; review safety, cost forecast, and schedule status reports.

• Negotiate and issue subcontracts, major purchase orders, and progress payments, monitoring progress and schedule.
"

• Communicate and proactively manage contract documents.
"
"
• Develop and coordinate overall project commissioning and closeout.
"
"
• Identify and manage risk and opportunities on construction projects.
"
"
• Supervise, direct, coach, train, and mentor the project team, including direct and indirect reports.

• Monitor design progress, including compliance issues, quality, coordination, constructability, and timing of deliverables.
"
"
• Obtain a comprehensive design‑management and design‑quality plan and conduct periodic quality audits.
"
"
• Keep all parties informed of potential opportunities and challenges, managing stakeholder expectations through appropriate communication.
"

"
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or related field.
"
"
• 10‑15 years of progressive construction experience, with leadership and mentoring skills preferred.
"
"
• Arena experience preferred.
"
"
• Demonstrated experience implementing a strong safety culture.
"
"
• In‑depth knowledge of construction industry, project types, building materials, specifications, methods, construction law, building codes, and safety and quality practices.
"

• Superior planning, organizational, and time‑management skills; ability to manage budgets, risks, resources, and schedules.
"
"
• Ability to monitor and forecast project resources and staffing.
"
"
• Ability to identify and manage risk and opportunities on construction projects.
"
"
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
"

• Experience leading a team, overseeing construction project facets and trade performance.
"
"
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management and scheduling software, with aptitude for adopting new technology.

The salary range for this position is between $137,000 and $177,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
