Technical Services Supervisor – Food Safety & Quality (2nd Shift | Bonus Eligible)

$70,000 - $80,000 per year

- Supervise and develop Technical Services (TS) Technicians
- Lead plant‑wide food safety and quality programs, including HACCP, BRC, USDA, and GMP compliance
- Administer and enforce food safety policies, regulatory requirements, and third‑party audit standards
- Investigate customer and consumer complaints using root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across safety, legality, and product quality
- Manage sanitation programs, chemical intervention programs, and master sanitation schedules
- Oversee microbiology controls, raw material quality, process control, and finished product monitoring
- Support pre‑operational inspections, test & hold programs, and retention sample reviews
- Partner closely with production, maintenance, sanitation, vendors, and contractors
- Ensure training effectiveness for GMPs, HACCP, allergen control, and hygiene programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition, or related field
- OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum 3+ years of food safety or quality assurance experience
- Strong background in protein or USDA‑regulated food manufacturing
- Hands‑on experience with HACCP, GMPs, GFSI/BRC, and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to manage broad quality systems and improve existing programs
- Experience with root cause analysis, statistical process control, and corrective action programs
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional manufacturing environment
