QA Technician - B Shift

Quality Assurance & Food Safety Greeley, Colorado

JBS is seeking a salary non-exempt QA Tech I! Position starts at $23.50 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor SOPs, SSOPs, and GMP compliance of associates, perform HACCP procedures to comply with federal regulations
• Have contact with USDA and present records to them at the agency's request
• Review records to ensure accuracy and be held accountable for their accuracy
• Aid QA supervision and management in gathering data and investigating issues outside of regular technician responsibilities
• Work closely with production associates to monitor product specifications and correct deficiencies
• Develop solutions to problems and work independently for periods
• Extended walking and standing in cold/freezing environments

Requirements:

Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

Experience: 2-3 years in quality assurance preferred

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday and Saturday as needed

The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures, fast-paced settings, exposure to chemicals, machinery, knives, slippery floors, and loud noises.
