Atlas Healthcare Partners is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Banner Surgery Center in Greeley, CO.
PayBase hourly rate: $35.28 – $48.50 per hour. Final compensation will reflect your skills and experience.
Facility OverviewThe Banner Surgery Center – Greeley (formerly Mountain Vista Surgery Center) is located near 10th Street and 59th Avenue. It offers exceptional care with three operating rooms and one procedure room, serving the Greeley community. PositionSummary
The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies, nursing practice standards, and regulatory requirements. This role leads the quality of nursing services delivered by oneself and staff under direction, utilizing specialized knowledge and judgment to meet patient needs.
Essential Functions- Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
- Formulates and revises a plan of care with realistic, measurable goals in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Implements the plan of care, coordinating and supervising the healthcare team and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Evaluates patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed.
- Documents assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely.
- Participates in evidence‑based practice, research activities, and shared leadership within the department.
- Provides precepting and mentoring to support staff development.
- Participates in nursing quality improvement initiatives and professional organizations.
- Assists with relief charge for staff and department workflow as required.
- Ensures compliance with all defined policies, procedures, accreditations, and professional standards.
- Delivers excellent customer service by demonstrating core and leader behaviors.
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing (or higher).
- Current, valid RN license in the state of practice; or temporary RN license; or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned ASC services pediatrics.
- Minimum one‑year licensed RN experience in OR (or other procedural areas with valid approval).
- Licensed RN with no OR experience may enroll in the Peri Op
101 program, with successful completion within 4 months.
- Additional nursing certifications or degrees beyond the minimum requirements.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently.
- Physical agility and adequate reaction time to respond to patient care needs.
- Adequate hearing and visual acuity, including color vision.
- Fine motor skills and eye‑hand coordination for handling instruments.
- Use proper body mechanics for patient ambulation, transfer, and positioning.
- May lift up to 75 pounds.
- Requires standard precautions for exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
- Effective communication through reading, writing, and speaking.
- Periodic use of computer, phone, and general office equipment.
