Job Details:

• Work varied schedule with every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation

• Float between multiple units including M/S and other PCU units at Greeley-NCMC, Loveland-NCMC, or BFC as needed

• Must be proficient in caring for Cardiac and M/S PCU patients

• Required to read and monitor telemetry

• ACLS and NIHSS certifications required

• BLS certification required

• Current valid RN license required

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies

• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities

• Complete patient assessments and reassessments according to patient needs and policy guidelines

• Formulate and implement plans of care including discharge planning

• Document all care provided in patient records in timely and accurate manner

• Interact with physicians, patients, families and multidisciplinary team members

• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required

• Must have worked in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and maintain physical agility for patient care needs

• Must use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
