- Weld Inspection & Quality Verification
- Inspect welded components and assemblies to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Evaluate weld quality, workmanship, and dimensional accuracy.
- Identify defects, non-conformances, and areas requiring corrective action.
- Verify compliance with welding procedures and quality standards.
- Perform ultrasonic testing examinations on welded materials and structures.
- Interpret test results and identify discontinuities or defects.
- Prepare and document inspection findings accurately.
- Ensure testing activities comply with established NDT procedures and industry requirements.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and testing reports.
- Prepare non-conformance reports (NCRs) and quality documentation as required.
- Support traceability and record retention requirements.
- Ensure inspection data is complete, accurate, and properly filed.
- Review welding procedures and supporting documentation.
- Verify welder qualifications and certification records.
- Assist with quality audits and compliance activities.
- Support corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to address weld-related concerns.
- Assist with troubleshooting weld defects and repair activities.
- Provide technical feedback to improve welding processes and product quality.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience performing ultrasonic testing and weld inspections.
- Experience inspecting welds in accordance with recognized industry standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and welding documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform inspections in various work conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- NDT Level II Certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Certification
- Additional NDT Certifications
- OSHA Safety Training Certifications
Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000
