• Opening set‑up and closing break‑down.
• Maintain food quality, safety, and presentation.
• Proficient knife handling and safety.
• Assist with dishwashing and overall kitchen cleanliness.
• Maintain equipment and kitchen area sanitation.
• Prepare ingredients for use in food preparation.
• Cut, slice, and store vegetables and fruits properly.
• Rotate cold‑storage items and discard expired products.
• Sort, chop, and store cooking‑ready food items.
• Ensure all work areas, including countertops, are clean and sanitized.
• Set ovens and ranges to appropriate heat levels.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, ovens, and cooking equipment regularly.
• Confirm all food meets quality standards.
• Follow health and safety rules in the kitchen.
• Adhere to prep procedures and follow recipes consistently.
• Utilize compliance systems, kitchen tools, and procedures with integrity.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards and serve as a role model for local health requirements.

• Manual dexterity to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils.
