General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is requested.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks to achieve goals aligned with business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Change prices, set up and maintain merchandise, and ensure inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking and packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while complying with applicable laws.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to climb ladders and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends and holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions during duties such as Drive-Up or carryout.
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
