Outside Sales Representative –
Vero Networks
Join Vero Networks as a full‑time Outside Sales Representative. In this role you will drive new revenue by engaging in door‑to‑door solicitation of residential customers for our fiber‑to‑the‑premises broadband service. The position is based in Leadville, CO and is essential to our mission of delivering high‑quality, reliable broadband to underserved communities.
Responsibilities- Drive new revenue by prospecting and actively engaging potential customers.
- Acquire new residential customers through door‑to‑door contact using assigned leads.
- Provide knowledge of and sell Vero Network services, ensuring alignment of the right product with each customer’s needs.
- Support the customer experience by consistently simplifying and enhancing service interactions.
- Collaborate with marketing, business development, and operations to align sales efforts with campaigns and market expansion initiatives.
- Track sales activity and maintain accurate data for KPI reporting and management analysis.
- Participate in sales strategy efforts such as marketing campaigns, community events, and conferences to increase market share.
- Attend sales meetings, training programs, and team activities to support team goals.
- Complete all administrative tasks related to product sales in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Sales experience is a plus, though willingness to learn and grow is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English.
- Engaging interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license, car insurance, satisfactory driving record, and reliable personal vehicle for transportation of sales materials.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and carry sales materials for extended periods; ability to operate in outdoor conditions.
- Full‑time commitment, approximately 90% of time outside.
- 90% of time spent outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
- Requires herding personal vehicle for travel between client sites.
- Minimal office time; primarily field‑based work.
- Full‑time position; travel and time flexibility required.
- Base salary: $55,000 per annum.
- Commission potential: $25,000‑$30,000 annually, depending on performance.
- Background check required upon offer of employment.
- Applicants must obtain a permit for door‑to‑door sales in the assigned locality.
- Minimum of two professional references required.
- Pre‑employment drug screening required for all safety‑sensitive roles, following Vero’s Drug & Alcohol Testing Policy.
- Failure to pass screening will result in rescission of the offer.
