Position Summary

This position serves the Used Equipment Department and will be responsible for the sales of used and rental fleet construction equipment and attachments. The successful candidate will utilize 4

Rivers Equipment’s inventory as well as other outlets such as Equipment Remarketing Services while building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers. He or she will also be responsible for assisting in other functions of the Used Equipment Department including trade value, pricing and purchasing. 4

Rivers is currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time position in Northern Colorado.

Essential Duties

• Effectively utilize all 4
  
  Rivers software provided to locate inventory and create professional quotes for 4
  
  Rivers customers.
• Collaborate with Used Equipment Manager to discuss changes with customers and marketplace.
• Collaborate with Store Managers to create annual sales goals and target customers.
• Utilizes extensive knowledge of the finance process and can attain financing relative to customer needs in alignment with 4
  
  Rivers core values.
• Assist with used equipment purchasing and evaluations.
• Able to create and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Collaborate with John Deere Equipment Remarketing Services to successfully obtain 4
  
  Rivers preferred service and pricing.
• Collaborate with location Sales personnel to assist with locating used equipment for their customers’ needs.
• Assist with marketing equipment through various websites including Machinery Trader and Iron Connect.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong technical background.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of sales practices pertaining to heavy construction equipment.
• Knowledge of John Deere construction equipment suggested.

Pay rate posted is base plus potential bonus or commission opportunities. The pay rate is commensurate with knowledge, ability, experience, and location.
