The President will provide enterprise-wide leadership for a multi-site, growth-oriented manufacturing business, owning full profit-and-loss performance and driving transformational commercial expansion. This executive will set and execute a scalable sales and growth strategy, lead cross-functional senior leaders, and partner effectively with sophisticated stakeholders (including private equity ownership and external financial partners).
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Assume executive leadership of legacy and newly acquired business units, aligning operations, teams, and priorities across locations.
- Own full P&L accountability, delivering performance aligned with aggressive growth expectations.
- Build trust, cadence, and clarity with a senior direct-report team spanning finance, HR, operations, quality, and customer service.
- Design and execute the company’s sales and growth strategy, integrating sales and marketing operations into a coherent go-to-market plan.
- Personally lead outbound business development efforts to activate and expand the sales pipeline and reduce dependence on legacy customers.
- Drive new customer acquisition with a targeted objective of diversifying revenue concentration and expanding net new customers.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities in adjacent verticals leveraging existing capabilities and capacity.
- Establish scalable outbound sales processes, infrastructure, and operating rhythms to support sustained growth.
- Partner with multiple stakeholders (e.g., private equity owners, banks, vendors), providing transparent updates and ensuring alignment on strategy, investment, and outcomes.
- Lead cultural integration and operational alignment across business units while sustaining performance in a lean, hands‑on environment.
- Minimum 15 years of experience leading a Sales function within manufacturing or a closely related sector (e.g., metal fabrication, industrial coatings), ideally in growth‑oriented companies.
- Proven success in a senior management or President-level role with full P&L responsibility.
- Demonstrated track record in business development, including sourcing new opportunities and expanding key accounts.
- Strong command of sales and marketing operations with hands‑on involvement in strategy development and execution.
- Experience managing complex stakeholder groups such as private equity owners, banks, and vendors.
- Preferred:
Established personal network in key U.S. geographic markets. - Preferred:
Experience integrating acquisitions into a parent-company structure. - Preferred:
Familiarity with CRM and ERP platforms and a technology-forward mindset. - Client-focused, forward-thinking, and proactive problem solver with strong analytical follow-through.
