The OSP Construction Superintendent plays a critical leadership role within the OSP Construction team, supporting the Construction Manager in overseeing all field construction activities. This position is responsible for ensuring that aerial, underground, and splicing construction crews perform work safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent manages the day-to-day operations of construction supervisors and inspectors, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with customer and company standards.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all safety standards and procedures are followed.
  • Oversee the daily activities of OSP Construction Supervisors and field crews engaged in aerial, underground, and splicing work.
  • Interact daily with clients and customers, providing progress updates, trackers, and attending on-site meetings and presentations.
  • Manage and coordinate construction inspections and internal inspection teams.
  • Ensure construction quality and accuracy in inspection reports, footages, quantities, and subcontractor invoices.
  • Represent the company during on-site walks, pre-construction meetings, and project closeouts with subcontractors, customers, and permitting authorities. dentify and address potential construction bottlenecks early to prevent project delays.
  • Monitor and report resource availability, inspector hours, and construction status to the Construction Manager.
  • Uphold ITG's commitment to high-quality, safe, and timely project execution.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the OSP field operations.

Exposure

• Field-based role with regular travel to project sites.

• Exposure to outdoor construction environments, varying weather, and moderate noise levels.

• May require work outside normal business hours, including evenings or weekends, to meet project deadlines.
