Before/After School Enrichment Presenter at Greater Green Bay YMCA
. Spark the imaginations of school age child care students (ages 5-12) by sharing your passions, hobbies, interests, or career. In collaboration with the SACC Director, you will choose a topic you love and prepare and deliver a 45-60 minute enrichment presentation.

• Develop and obtain approval of a written lesson plan to ensure a quality presentation prior to topic delivery. The list of topics is limited. A few ideas could include home alone classes, languages, fitness, snack making class, music, culture, photography, science, sign-language, sports, team building, theater, etc.
• Coordinate and implement an enrichment activity that fits the needs and interests of the children in attendance while involving them with hands-on experiences.
• Provide a warm, caring atmosphere for the children while treating all children equally with dignity and respect.
• Ensure that the enrichment activity maintains safe conditions at all times.
• Act according to facility protocol to ensure safety of all staff and children including:
  • Adhere to policies related to boundaries with staff and children.
  • Attend required abuse risk management training.
  • Report suspicious and inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
  • Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.

• Must possess adequate knowledge of the subject and possess the ability to teach this topic to a group of children.
• Past experience teaching the subject matter preferred.
• Must be mature and be able to relate well to children, adults, and school/site staff.
• Reliable transportation to make your way to a variety of SACC program sites in the greater Green Bay area.
