Course Offerings: We are building a pool of part-time faculty available to teach weekdays – daytime and evening for spring 2026 semester beginning January 20, 2026. Please indicate availability on your resume/cover letter. Courses are delivered in a variety of formats. To learn more, .

Standard

Hours:

Spring 2026:
College Tech Math 1B, Mondays/Wednesdays 8:30-10:15 a.m. Flexibility in schedule is required for day, night or weekend classes as needed.

Salary: $45.00 per class hour contracted

Position Summary

Essential

Functions
  • Responsible for planning, preparing, delivering instruction, and assessing learning outcomes.

  • Utilize engaging instructional strategies and methodologies that foster student success in and outside the classroom.

  • Maintain accurate student records and communication.

  • Advise and support students as a mentor and role model, including being accessible outside scheduled class time.

  • Provide educational leadership and collaborate effectively with faculty, administration, and campus support staff.

  • Maintain Faculty Quality Assurance System requirements and licensure as required by agencies to maintain accreditation.

  • Comply with College policies related to instruction, assessment, and delivery.

  • Additional duties may be discussed as needs arise.

Minimum Qualifications and Work Experience
  • Master’s Degree and a combination of 18 graduate/undergraduate credits in Mathematics or a related subfield.

  • Examples of qualifying subfields include, but are not limited to:
    Math Education, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Engineering, Physics.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous teaching experience with adult learners is preferred.

  • Extended Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer or attending meetings.

  • Mobility: Ability to move around the campus to attend meetings and events.

  • Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using hands and fingers to operate office equipment, tools, or controls.

  • Visual and Auditory: Ability to read documents and communicate effectively with students and staff.

  • Light Lifting: Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
