• Plan and deliver engaging, culturally responsive lessons in Grade 6 Science and ELA
• Support students’ English language development using their home language as a resource
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective instruction and consistent student progress
• Create a positive classroom culture that supports academic achievement and student well‑being
• Participate in co‑curricular activities and school programs that promote student pride and involvement
• Maintain accurate records of student growth, attendance, and learning outcomes
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in bilingual and content‑area instruction

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Valid Wisconsin teaching license with Bilingual Certification or willingness to obtain
• Fluency in English and the partner language (Spanish preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to motivate, influence, and inspire diverse learners
• Demonstrated commitment to high expectations and continuous improvement

Founded in 1856 with the first city‑built school known as the Sale School, the Green Bay Area Public School District is more than 150 years old.
