GENERAL FUNCTIONS
As a member of the 21C staff, you will create a safe and engaging environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You will be responsible for a group of students, encouraging positive behavior and character development. Regular training will be provided to help you deliver programming and curriculum that meet the standards of the School District and YMCA.
Employment Type:
Part-time (less than 30 hours per week, not eligible for benefits)
Skills and Training
- Minimum three months experience working with school-age children, especially those facing issues like poverty, homelessness, or language barriers.
- College courses or a degree in Education, Child Psychology, Human Development, or Elementary Education preferred.
- Conversational Spanish skills are helpful.
