Special Education Teacher (Self-Contained Classroom)

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education (SPED) Teacher to support students in a Self-Contained Classroom setting. This position is ideal for an educator passionate about providing individualized instruction and helping students achieve meaningful academic, social, and behavioral growth.

We are offering a competitive pay range of $50–$55 per hour. This is a full‑time position based in Green Bay, WI.

• Provide specialized instruction to students in a self‑contained environment.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and school staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Active Cross‑Categorical Special Education (Cross‑Cat SPED) DPI license (Required).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience in a self‑contained classroom is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and behavioral management skills.
