Talent Acquisition @ Wide Effect Talent Solutions | Enhancing Recruitment Strategies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform boundary, topographic, and property surveys for various development projects
  • Operate GPS equipment, robotic total stations, and other advanced survey tools to collect precise data
  • Prepare Certified Survey Maps (CSMs), plats of survey, topographic maps, residential site plans, and, occasionally, ALTA surveys and subdivision plats
  • Research property deeds, records, and titles to confirm boundaries and address any discrepancies
  • Ensure all survey work adheres to applicable laws, codes, and standards
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide input during design and construction phases
  • Organize and maintain all survey data, records, and legal documentation
  • Assist in permitting processes and represent the company in hearings or legal proceedings, if required
  • Foster strong relationships with clients through professional communication and reliable service

Requirements

  • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Wisconsin
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and navigating rough terrain
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in field and office surveying work (preferred)
  • Strong background in topographic surveys, boundary work, construction staking, and right-of-way plats (preferred)
  • Deep understanding of Wisconsin statutes and administrative codes related to land surveying and map preparation (preferred)
