Structural Engineer

Brander Engineering, Inc. is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Brander is an engineering firm specializing in existing construction, building performance, and structural engineering challenges. A significant portion of our work supports clients in the pulp and paper industry.

• Perform structural analysis and design
• Evaluate existing structures and develop repair, rehabilitation, and strengthening recommendations
• Conduct field assessments, investigations, condition evaluations, and construction observations
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documents
• Perform construction observations and document project progress
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, technicians, contractors, and clients throughout all phases of project development
• Contribute ideas and solutions in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality results for clients

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a Structural Emphasis from an ABET-accredited university
• Minimum of one year of structural engineering experience
• Strong understanding of structural analysis and building systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Valid driver's license

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure
• Experience with commercial, industrial, or existing-building projects
• Experience with industrial facilities, manufacturing operations, or pulp and paper facilities
• Experience evaluating existing structures and developing structural modifications within operating facilities
• Familiarity with equipment support structures, industrial building systems, or maintenance-related projects
• Experience performing field investigations, condition assessments, or construction observation

This position is based in our Green Bay, Wisconsin office and includes occasional travel to client facilities for field work, construction observations, and project-related meetings.
