Perform the duties of a Relationship Banker and directly manage 1-5 bankers assigned to the branch. Serve as second in command when the Bank or Market Manager is out of the branch. Work collaboratively with the Teller Supervisor and bankers to meet or exceed sales, service, operational, and financial goals. Lead the day-to-day sales activities to acquire new consumer and small business households, and cross-sell to existing customers.

Establish full-relationship banking by meeting a broad range of financial service needs and aiming to exceed customer expectations consistently. Promote awareness and use of all customer channels, including digital platforms, and advocate digital adoption. Lead by example in achieving goals. Master sales processes, operational procedures, policies, and exercise sound judgment. Conduct observations, provide feedback and coaching, and lead team huddles.

Supervise colleagues in the absence of the Branch or Market Manager. Flexibility to work across multiple branches to support operational needs is expected.

This position requires a credit check per 12 CFR Chapter X, Part 1026, Truth in Lending, Regulation Z.

This person will also:

• Assist customers with banking transactions, identify and service customer needs, and resolve issues.
• Identify, expand, and deepen customer relationships.
• Ensure proper processing of new accounts and pursue cross-sell opportunities.
• Refer customers to appropriate lines of business to meet their financial needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by efficiently processing transactions.
• Observe, coach, and develop bankers to reach performance objectives.
• Collaborate on scheduling, hiring, performance, and audits with the bank manager and teller supervisor.
• Monitor and train bankers on operating procedures, compliance, and policies.
• Engage in proactive prospecting at in-store locations.

Qualifications include:

• High School diploma or equivalent; combination of education and experience acceptable.
• 1-3 years of sales, leadership, and/or financial branch management experience.
• Business certifications preferred within 2 years.
