Correctional Psychologist – PRN, On-Site Opportunity (Green Bay, Wisconsin)

Provide direct mental health services within the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, Green Bay. This PRN role offers a meaningful impact in a secure clinical setting in a thriving city with scenic riverfront.

• Active Wisconsin Psychologist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed psychologist (clinical or correctional psychology preferred)
• Strong knowledge of psychological theory, assessment, diagnosis, and evidence‑based treatment
• Experience with DSM criteria and psychological testing
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage a large caseload independently

• Provide direct mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within a correctional healthcare setting
• Conduct psychological assessments, clinical interviews, risk assessments, and wellness rounds
• Deliver evidence‑based treatment, crisis intervention, and ongoing mental health monitoring
• Make recommendations regarding observation status and use of restraints
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Prepare psychological reports, case‑management notes, and clinical documentation
• Consult with Department of Corrections staff and participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure continuity of care
• Comply with all administrative rules, policies, and ethical guidelines for correctional healthcare jobs
