Housekeeping/Laundry Aide (FT/PT)

Location:

Edenbrook of Green Bay, Green Bay, WI. This role helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

$15.00/hr - $16.00/hr

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and other facility areas.
• Safely mix, use, and store cleaning solutions according to safety guidelines.
• Properly label and remove infectious waste bags and containers, ensuring compliance with facility protocols.
• Perform additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Conduct all responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, policies and procedures, Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and professional standards.

• Collect, sort, and launder resident clothing and linens in accordance with infection control procedures.
• Fold and return clean laundry to appropriate areas and residents.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and laundry room.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  Ability to read and write at a suitable level, effective communication skills with residents, family members, and facility staff, knowledge of infection control procedures and ability to implement them in daily tasks, and the ability to remain patient, polite, and professional at all times.

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift or move heavy items, such as laundry bags or cleaning equipment, as required.
