Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work in a 2-room cardiac catheterization lab with 1 EP/Cath room and 1 Cath Lab

• Participate in 24/7, 365 STEMI Program

• Handle approximately 4 cases per day

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures using femoral and radial approaches

• Work with IFR, FFR, and balloon pumps

• Operate balloon pumps and temporary pacers

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT or RCIS; ACLS preferred

• Work with EPIC EMR system and Maclab hemodynamic system

• Use Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and GE C-arms

• Float only between rooms within department and pre-op area

• Must maintain excellent teamwork and communication skills

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

• Willingness to teach and educate others required

• Scrubs provided by facility

• Free parking available in facility lot

This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility featuring 72 beds and serves as a Level III Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and Primary Stroke Center designation. The facility provides advanced cardiac services through its specialized catheterization lab and maintains support services including respiratory therapy and hospitalist coverage. The organization emphasizes teamwork, education, and maintaining high standards of patient care in a collaborative environment.
