Description

Badger State is seeking a highly qualified individual to join the company as a key member of the leadership and management team. This position will oversee all private events, tap room events, and F&B programming.

Essential

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Proficient in club membership management and ready and willing point of contact for our supporters
  • Extensive experience in text message marketing
  • Extensive experience in email marketing communications
  • Ability to lead a sub-group or team within the marketing department
  • Marketing acumen including social media content creation support.
  • Positive attitude and leadership capabilities.
  • Refined communication skills and the ability to reach out to groups or individuals
  • General on-site availability most weekdays plus potential Saturdays and Sundays when there are hosted events.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and work assignments.
  • High expectations for quality.
  • Degree or certificates within the marketing arena and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Understanding of basic graphic design/content creation.
  • Experience around tap rooms, tasting rooms, bar and or restaurant front of house operations and marketing.
  • Plan and execute local campaigns
    to drive foot traffic, promote events, and increase loyalty program signups
  • Run loyalty, email, and SMS marketing
    using guest communication tools and point of sale systems
  • Manage local social media
    for each location using major digital platforms
  • Create seasonal beverage menus and items
  • Manage SKUs and new item slotting for all non-beer and outside product sold in our spaces
  • Pull guest feedback
    from review and survey platforms to improve operations and campaigns
  • Support and help evolve the entertainment calendar
    with weekly meetings, pre-promotion, and post-event analysis

Guest Experience Management:

  • Ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all guests.
  • Addressing guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Implementing strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Staff Management:

  • Frontline recruiting, training, and supervising hospitality staff, including Tap Room Managers and ASM's.
  • Motivating and developing staff to provide exceptional service.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Creating and implementing staff incentives and goals

Event Planning and Coordination:

  • Supporting event planning and coordinating of live music, and festivals, making sure to include F&B specials and sell opportunities
  • Working with marketing and sales teams to promote events and drive attendance.

Operational Management:

  • Overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the brewery's hospitality areas.
  • Oversee team management for all inventory of bar supplies and other hospitality materials.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Tracking guest feedback and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Generating reports on hospitality performance and presenting findings to management.

Skills and

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in hospitality, event planning, or customer service.
  • Knowledge of the beer industry and brewing processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as point-of-sale systems and CRM tools.
  • Includes incentive based commission, mileage, travel and expense reimbursement as required.
