Job DescriptionWe are seeking freelancers/consultants for a tech in residence on site IT Support assignment in the Luxemburg area to join our team! This individual will work with our client 5 full days per week to provide support for end users as well as assist with some network tasks. As a team member, you will assist our client with resolving a range of computer-related issues and/or provide on-site support as needed.
Responsibilities- Installation of workstations.
- Assisting end users with onboarding and the provisioning process.
- End‑user technical support for executive level individuals, office personnel, and other key business stakeholders; this could include installation and configuration of hardware and software applications, technical support on commonly used applications and devices, as well as some security functions such as password resets, etc.
- Experience with copying/restoring end user data files, migrating Windows 7 to Windows 10 utilizing tools such as Azure, SCCM, PXE boot, etc.
- MDM using Intune and/or Air Watch.
- Basic networking, rack/stack/patch, remote hands support, etc.
- Experience working with cloud‑based applications for AD (Active Directory), domains, group policy, etc.
- E‑mail, A/V conferencing (Teams, Google Meets, etc.), VoIP device replace and configuration.
- Support of enterprise solutions including Microsoft Office
365, Exchange email, Anti‑Virus software, etc.
- 5+ years support experience in an enterprise environment using Windows and some Apple/Mac hardware.
- Application support for Microsoft Office
365, Document Management, SharePoint Online and Exchange Online. - Working knowledge of Azure, Intune, and other cloud based services.
- Operating Systems:
Windows Server, Mac OS X (Server/Workgroup Manager), iOS and Windows 7 through 10. - Xerox, Canon, HP printer installation, local/network configuration and print management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively operate independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible work schedule! Hours/Shifts are during business hours, Monday ‑ Friday.
- Competitive compensation and 2hrs. minimum pay on all assignments.
