Job Summary
  • Supervise event clean‑up operations at Resch Center & Resch Expo.
  • Demonstrate PMI Entertainment Group culture and customer service values.
  • Supervise clean‑up crew, participate in cleaning and custodial duties, supervise full and part‑time labor.
  • Orient and train new hires, schedule, assign, train and direct workload.
  • Plan weekly and daily work, analyze event service orders, prepare staff schedules.
  • Implement work plans for clean‑up/housekeeping crews, ensure employees have necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Supervise proper use and care of equipment, prevent injury to employees and customers, avoid damage to equipment.
  • Serve as Event Lead: open and secure building, supervise staff, check building for proper set‑up and safety, maintain heating, cooling and lighting.
  • Keep proper inventory of equipment and supplies used during events and for cleaning purposes.
  • Supervise preparation and installation of ice floor for hockey and skating events.
  • Follow company‑directed guidelines on energy conservation, conserve energy in all business practices.
  • Perform yearly reviews of staff, communicate maintenance and other problem areas to Senior Director of Facilities & Operations.
  • Perform building security functions, document all safety, security and potential discipline issues, report them to Operations Manager.
  • Document attendance issues of scheduled staff (call‑in, no show, ask off, etc.)
  • Maintain knowledge of current trends and new developments in the industry by reading literature and attending seminars.
  • Perform necessary tasks to maintain and upkeep the facility and existing equipment.
  • Interact with staff, set a positive tone, complete tasks according to timelines.
  • Maintain a professional and neat appearance for meetings with internal and external customers.
  • Participate in applicant interviews, make recommendations for hiring, encourage team‑player behavior.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of maintenance at a level normally acquired through high school completion.
  • 6 to 12 months related work experience necessary to gain full understanding of custodial operations.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with all levels of company personnel, outside contractors, and sales personnel.
  • Ability to work days, nights, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
  • MUST be able to lift, push, pull and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity to operate cleaning and lawn equipment.
  • Eye‑hand coordination to operate equipment such as a truck or forklift.
  • MUST be able to operate simple to complex and heavy‑duty machinery.
  • Requires vision correctable to 20/20 and hearing within normal range.
  • Frequent mobility and/or sitting or standing required for extended periods.
  • MUST have a valid driver’s license.
  • MUST be open to becoming forklift certified.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual handling and operation of heavy equipment.
  • Extended periods of standing, walking, bending and kneeling.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
