Join our team as a Material Handler / Warehouse Associate, where you’ll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly. This position focuses primarily on material movement throughout the plant, with additional responsibilities in order picking and shipping support.

WhatYou’ll Do Material Handling (Primary Role – ~50%)
- Supply production machines with raw materials using FIFO.
- Remove, scan, and store finished goods accurately.
- Process material requests within the ERP system.
- Communicate with production supervisors to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Load/unload trucks as needed.
- Identify and route defective rolls.
- Consolidate cartons/cases & return unused materials to proper storage.
- Conduct cycle counts and bin audits.
- Perform basic equipment checks (fluids, dusting, etc.).
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow forklift standards.
- Pick customer orders using forklifts and scanners.
- Verify accuracy and product condition before shipping.
- Shrink-wrap, weigh, and palletize orders.
- Restock primary pick bins from secondary locations.
- Document all movements in the ERP system.
- Assist with preparing outbound shipments.
- Create BOLs and shipping paperwork when filling in for the Shipping Clerk.
- Route shipments using customer-preferred methods.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
- Basic ERP experience (Epicor preferred but not required).
- Strong attention to detail & accurate documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/production environment.
- Solid communication with internal teams.
- Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift.
- Reliable and punctual.
