Base Pay Range$1.00/hr - $1.00/hr
Job DescriptionKI, a world class supplier of innovative and award‑winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full‑time Shear Operator to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 2nd shift. 2nd shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $2.00. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties- Complete daily safety inspections of the shear and end finisher
- Cut the correct materials according to the shop orders
- Change blades as necessary
- Change and adjust machines based on tubing diameter and length
- Transport bundles of steel tubing utilizing a hoist system
- Perform multiple tasks to ISO Quality Standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
Value Added Skills- Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required
- Communication skills
- Computer knowledge
- Willingness to learn
- Must be able to take measurements by using the decimal system
- Ability to read KI print will be useful
- Working in areas where it can get warm
- Working in a smoke free environment
- Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow
This is a 2nd Shift position. Hours are 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday. Shift premium of $2.00/hour. Overtime during busy season.
