KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award‑winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full‑time Shear Operator to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 2nd shift. 2nd shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $2.00. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

• Complete daily safety inspections of the shear and end finisher
• Cut the correct materials according to the shop orders
• Change blades as necessary
• Change and adjust machines based on tubing diameter and length
• Transport bundles of steel tubing utilizing a hoist system
• Perform multiple tasks to ISO Quality Standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

• Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required
• Communication skills
• Computer knowledge
• Willingness to learn
• Must be able to take measurements by using the decimal system
• Ability to read KI print will be useful

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

This is a 2nd Shift position. Hours are 2pm - 10pm Monday - Friday. Shift premium of $2.00/hour. Overtime during busy season.
