Summary

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Team Lead works closely with the employees on their respective line to while providing direction to drive overall performance in the department.

Job Duties

The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

Provide direction to team members including but not limited to:

Safe job performance
Proper line set-up
Paperwork verification
Job responsibilities
Work area cleanliness
Quality of production

Follow all safety protocols

Provide support for line samples

Provide support for team member training

Check AMS? Provide support for team member training

Check-ins for all team members to ensure support and engagement

Communicate with Maintenance to provide insight into line breakdowns

Assist Supervisor to drive and test process improvements

Train to Back-Up Supervisor on an as-needed basis

Train to Back-Up Operators on an as-needed basis

Accurate inventory Control of all packaging materials and finished goods pallets

Maintain a clean work environment

Comply with GMP standards as set forth by company

All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent
At least six months of related experience to become familiar with processes and procedures
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Experience with a Windows-based computer system and Microsoft Office programs is necessary
Ability to read and comprehend documents such as sales orders, slips, inventory records, and receiving documents
Ability to write standard documentation
Ability to effectively present information to other employees in the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals
