About the Role:

• Ensure and maintain a high level of sanitation, food safety, and safe working environment
• Operation, inspection, setup, adjustment, and basic maintenance of fluming equipment, relish cutting equipment, forklifts, hoppers, blanchers and desalt tanks
• Verify that the correct produce is being used for each area of work, including produce rotation
• Keeps inventory, loading areas and machinery clean
• Collaborate with and communicate with colleagues over the radio
• Occasionally lift items up to 50lbs
• May drive occasionally outside in weather conditions
• Start up and shut down of the PPA system for the flume and soak tanks. This includes capping the probes, and turning on and off the controller
• The duties and responsibility described are not a comprehensive list of all tasks. Additional tasks and duties may be assigned from time to time as necessitate by business need

This is a permanent, full-time position on the 1st shift. In accordance with the union contract, the current pay rate is $24.54.

• Ability to speak, read and write English highly preferred
• Forklift experience required
