KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Inventory Assistant to join our Green Bay manufacturing. The shift for this individual will be 7:30am-4:00pm. To learn more about KI, please visit
Job Duties:- Pull orders and sort according to shipping requirements
- Pull proper fabric to fulfill orders
- Cut fabric to size, big it and send to shipping
- Inspect incoming fabric rolls ensuring that flaws are marked and yardage is correct
- Place fabric rolls on racks sorted by location range
- Take appropriate fabric rolls from racks to the Fed Ex machine
- Fill fabric sample requests for customers and sales reps
- Track daily and monthly samples via Excel spreadsheet program
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Reading skills
- Keyboarding skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
Skills:
- Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required
- Team player
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to train on any shift
- Positive attitude
- Working in areas where it can get warm
- Working in a smoke free environment
- Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow
