The Registered Nurse II at Prevea plays a crucial role as an integral member of our clinic team, delivering patient-centered care. They provide patient care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive the best possible care. The RN II delivers direct patient care, identifies patient care needs through nursing assessments, procedures, and medication administration, and may also provide phone advice or triage services as needed.

They are accountable for exceptional, safe care as defined by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing and Prevea policy.

• Provides direct patient care including rooming, obtaining medical information, performing comprehensive initial patient assessment and reassessment, administering medications, monitoring reactions or side effects, and maintaining patient charts/records.
• Follows the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Communicates with patients, physicians, advanced practice providers, and staff to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Assists physicians or advanced practice providers with procedures, documents orders, and makes necessary arrangements.
• Manages patient and family health concerns through telephone triage, assessing needs and offering clinical options.
• Collaborates with the Prevea team to optimize patient outcomes.

• Active RN license in Wisconsin.
• Experience in Urology or related specialty preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform direct patient care and telephone triage.
• Commitment to continuous education, training, and support.
