• Program and operate part inspection systems for precision part inspection.
• Develop automated measurement routines, macros, and reporting functions within metrology software platforms.
• Analyze inspection data and generate reports for PPAPs, customer submissions, and internal verification.
• Collaborate with quality engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and optimize inspection programs.
• Support the development of inspection plans based on print requirements and GD&T.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing new inspection technologies and measurement equipment.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of inspection programs, revisions, and outputs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on dimensional verification processes.
• Train technicians and team members on scanning procedures, programming best practices, and software use.
• Support internal and external audits with relevant inspection data.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or management based on business needs.

• Strong experience with quality inspection systems and metrology software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working independently and cross‑functionally.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems preferred.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Quality, or related field.
• Minimum 25 years of experience in a quality engineering or dimensional inspection role.
• Hands‑on experience with part inspection, 3D scanning, or related measurement programming.
• Experience supporting PPAP or customer dimensional submissions is a plus.
