This position is for a Field Insurance Agent I tasked with selling and servicing ACG branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within an ACG branch.

Signing

Bonus

$2,500 Signing Bonus for new hires (applies to applicants who have not applied in the last 180 days). A 1‑year payback clause applies if employment is terminated before completing 12 months.

A DAY IN THE LIFE of a Field Insurance Agent I
  • Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer‑specific needs, generate new sales, retain existing insureds, and grow ACG’s overall insurance book.
  • Effectively overcome objections to close sales and/or retain insureds.
  • Meet or exceed targets defined in the sales incentive plan and goals assigned by leadership.
  • Conduct insurance reviews for clients, assess risk, recommend suitable products, quote, bind, and issue policies.
  • Participate in local branch events to solicit new business and expand networks.
  • Build rapport essential for customer satisfaction, loyalty, and affinity to the AAA brand.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests regarding insurance, membership, and financial products.
  • Refer members to other applicable lines of business (e.g., Travel & Financial Services) when appropriate.
How We Reward Our Employees

Average annual earnings $57,000‑$87,000+. Pay structure includes a base pay of $31,200 (non‑exempt, eligible for overtime) plus unlimited commission potential and accelerated commissions for the first 15 months.

  • Additional $200/week for months 0‑2
  • Additional $150/week for months 3‑4
  • Additional $100/week for months 5‑6
We Are Looking For Candidates Who…

Required Qualifications
  • Current Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
  • Current Life & Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments for selling and/or servicing ACG Membership products
  • Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable within established timeframe
Education

High School diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience

1+ year of customer‑facing experience in a fast‑paced, computer‑automated business environment (e.g., financial/banking).

  • Proficient prospecting and lead‑closing abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer focus
  • Ambition, motivation, drive
  • Knowledge of desktop systems, including CRM and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent listening skills and understanding of customer needs
Work Environment

Works in a temperature‑controlled branch location; may require irregular hours, weekends, and travel to local branch events.
