KeyQualifications
- 6 Years of Diesel Mechanic Experience
- 6 Years of CNG Experience
- Waste Industry Experience as a Mechanic
- 4 years of relevant work experience
- A valid driver's license, with a clean driving record
- Over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical
- Premium Hourly Pay!
- Full Time & Overtime as Needed per company

- Normal setting for this job is a repair/maintenance shop at any of our Upper Mid West locations
- Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
- Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
- Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Perform safety checks on vehicles – safety of every single employee and the community.
- Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
- Assist senior Mechanics in the completion of project work.
- Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing; constantly standing, walking, grasping; occasionally sitting and balancing.
- Exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, etc.
- Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes; inside garage and outdoors, inclement weather, heat and humidity.
- Perform in both inside garage/shop or gas plant conditions and outside conditions.
