A growing food manufacturer is seeking several experienced Maintenance Technicians to join its expanding maintenance team in the Green Bay, WI area
. This is a hands-on troubleshooting role for manufacturing technicians who can diagnose equipment failures and make effective repairs—not simply replace parts
. The facility offers a predictable 2-2-3 schedule published well in advance and exposure to a wide range of mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and automated equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment.
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs.
- Troubleshoot PLCs and controls; programming is not required.
- Maintain hydraulic and automated production systems.
- Respond to breakdowns and restore production quickly and safely.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
- Follow food safety, GMP, LOTO, and plant safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of food manufacturing maintenance OR 5+ years of other manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Electrical and PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with hydraulics and automated production equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with boilers, HVAC, CIP, wastewater, spiral freezers, flow wrappers, cartoning/packaging equipment, or similar systems is a plus.
- Experience writing/editing SOPs is helpful but not required.
