Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin is inviting applications for a full‑time Family Support Specialist to work in our Healthy Families program in Green Bay. This role focuses on building trusting relationships with families in need and providing culturally competent, strength‑based support.

Family Services is a nonprofit organization committed to Protecting, Healing, and Caring for children and families across Northeast Wisconsin. We provide vital support during life's most challenging moments, helping individuals heal, grow, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and maintain regular contact with assigned families, primarily in their homes.
  • Manage an active caseload of families; complete assessments and develop Individual Family Support Plans.
  • Provide assistance to families to increase competency in parent‑child interaction, home environment, safety, nutrition, child growth and development, and child health care.
  • Develop and maintain necessary relationships in the community to support goals and objectives.
  • Provide transportation for program participants related to family needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Infant Mental Health Endorsement (preferred).
Experience
  • 0–2 years of experience in early childhood education, maternal‑child health, family life education, home visitation, social work, counseling or related human services field.
  • 2+ years of home visitation experience (preferred).
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) (preferred).
Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to assimilate and incorporate client needs into detailed written case plans.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills and knowledge of programs and community resources.
  • Proficiency in building trusting relationships with families.
  • Flexible schedule to meet client needs, including evenings.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with reliable vehicle; required insurance and clean driving record.
