Position: Pilot (First Officer) - Midwest Region

Net Jets invites you to apply for the Pilot (First Officer) - Midwest Region role. This full‑time position offers a competitive salary range of $86,015 to $117,706 and is based in Green Bay, WI.

Overview

The Pilot is responsible for providing a superior air transportation experience with a continued safety record second to none. The Pilot is the face of Net Jets, delivering exceptional service to every Net Jets Owner and passenger, and wearing many hats—from professional aviator to in‑flight service provider—while maintaining full command of the aircraft at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Safe operation of the aircraft from taxi, take‑off, and landing in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, the Net Jets Flight Operations Manual, or the Aircraft Operating Manual.
  • Pre‑flight greeting of Owners/passengers, briefings on itinerary, weather updates, and safety information.
  • Delivery of in‑flight service, including alcohol handling and catering service.
  • Proper loading and stowage of all baggage on the aircraft.
  • Handling of Owner flights for pets and passengers who smoke.
  • Act as the final authority on all operational aspects of the aircraft, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory guidance.
  • Liaison for Owners/passengers and Net Jets from arrival at the FBO until final destination and departure from the final FBO.
  • Communication of any maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Company via the maintenance control center.
  • Completion of any paperwork associated with maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies.
  • Other duties as assigned depending on assignment.
Qualifications

    Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and First-Class Medical Certificate

  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs):
    • At least 21 years of age
    • 1,500 flight hours total, or equivalent R‑ATP qualifications
    • 200 hours cross‑country, 250 hours fixed‑wing PIC, 100 hours night flying (or 75 hours with 45+ night take‑offs)
    • 75 hours instrument time (actual flight, simulator excluded)
    • 50 hours fixed‑wing, multi‑engine time
    • Current FAA First‑Class Medical certificate and valid passport
    • Valid FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit
    • Authorization to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restriction
    • Must be able to work varying hours including day and night; weekdays, weekends and holidays
    • Must be able to manage rest to be prepared for flight duty at all times during the tour
    • Duty may last up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days and may span different time zones and extreme weather differences
    • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and U.S. Customs security badges
    • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand English
    • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure
    • Must demonstrate the ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger‑service perspective
    • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects
    • Must be able to work around animals, including handling and care prior to, during and after Owner flights
