AutoCAD Technician FL On Site

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced survey CAD technicians to join our team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform professional-level technical work using computerized drafting and drawing systems.
• Prepare design drawings and specifications for survey and mapping projects.
• Create computerized drawing files and plots.
• Draw line types, arcs, curves, and texts on drawings to complete intermediate-level plan and profile drawings, and compile automated drawings from field notes, sketches, or other automated outputs.
• Accurately replicate dimensions, angles, and other precise measurements and specifications.
• Automate design specifications, drawings, and diagrams related to plans, field surveying, construction inspection, field data collection, and engineering computations.
• Apply knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and computer software in performing basic engineering and survey computations.
• Platting subdivisions and conducting various surveys including Residential Construction/Mortgage, ALTA, As-built, Boundary, Bathymetric/Hydrographic, Construction, Development, Environmental, Residential/Commercial, and Topographic Surveys.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Understanding of legal descriptions terminology.
• Ability to act as a team player, fulfilling responsibilities and supporting others to meet deadlines and complete tasks.
• 1-2 years of computerized design and drafting experience, or relevant education or training.
• AutoCAD 3D experience preferred.
• FEMA Elevation Certificate experience is a plus.
