Purchasing Supervisor

Vac-Con is looking for an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to lead our purchasing team and help keep our manufacturing operation running smoothly. This is an opportunity to make a real impact by ensuring the right materials arrive at the right time, controlling costs, and helping our production team succeed.

• Lead, coach, and develop our purchasing team.
• Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms.
• Use data, forecasting, and demand planning to anticipate material needs.
• Keep inventory levels balanced while preventing shortages and excess stock.
• Partner with Production, Operations, Engineering, and Quality to keep things moving.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and smarter procurement processes.
• 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
  .
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a knack for solving problems.
• Experience with forecasting and demand planning is a plus.
• A hands-on leader who can think strategically while staying connected to daily operations.
