The biggest fear for a new driver is a slow first month and a check that doesn't cover the bills. Here you're guaranteed $1,000 a week your first three months solo, drivers average $1,250 to $1,450, and you're home every 2 weeks.
Your First Job in Trucking- Paid training with an experienced driver
- Learn on real loads, not in a parking lot
- Full solo pay the day you're signed off
- $1,250 to $1,450 average weekly gross
- $1,000 weekly guaranteed pay for your first 3 months solo
- $0.55 per mile to start, climbing to $0.65 with experience
- $15 stop pay, monthly bonus
- Dry van along the eastern seaboard
- About 2,500 miles a week
- Home every 2 weeks
- Health, dental, and vision after 30 days
- 401(k) with match and paid time off
- $300 orientation pay, travel covered
- Riders and pets after training
- 21 or older with a Class A CDL
- 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school
- Valid license, 3 years of work history
- No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years
- Pass hair and urine drug testing
