Position Overview

Administrator – Office

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzes and organizes office operations, including typing, heavy SAP work, correspondence flow, filing, and purchase of plant and office supplies.
  • Evaluates plant production, revises procedures, and devises new forms to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Performs data entry and adjustment of all production, man‑hour, delivery, and plant inventory control information.
  • Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices.
  • Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records in accordance with Imerys’ Quality System and Records protocols.
  • Prepares productivity reports to guide management.
  • Reviews customer requests for product and arranges transportation of product.
  • Requisition s parts and supplies.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Interaction and Support
  • Requires regular interaction with customers, vendors, personnel in operations, and Imerys corporate personnel including accounting, finance, HR, etc.
  • May be asked to travel to learn new customer service and accounting systems.
  • Required to support internal and external customer audits of the plant accounting systems and records management systems.
  • The customer service office supports one operation but may be called on to support other facilities as deemed appropriate.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • SAP knowledge a must.
  • Good understanding of Google email, Docs, and Sheets.
