DescriptionPearl River Technologies has a full-time Quality Assurance (QA) Lead position open to support the Flight Dynamic Support Services III (FDSS-III) Contract at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). The QA Lead will partner with program leaders, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to the program's Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and alignment with NASA/GSFC policies, procedures, and regulations.
The QA Lead will be responsible for maintaining QA processes and procedures, leading and managing QA activities that measure the program's performance relative to contractual commitments, and ensuring continuous improvement in the program's overall performance. As an integral part of the FDSS-III team, the QA Lead will have ownership and responsibility for all quality‑related processes, procedures, and tasks associated with the Quality Management System – including Internal Audits and Risk and Non‑conformance Management – and will effectively engage and partner with team members at all levels of the organization to ensure program and mission success.
Specific areas of support will include:
- Demonstrate ownership of the program's processes, procedures, and tasks associated with the Quality Management System – including, but not limited to, Internal Audits and Risk and Corrective Action and Preventative Action (CAPA) Management.
- Partner with team to track/report quality metric statuses per the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).
- Prepare and maintain QAP measurements reports.
- Prepare and deliver Quality Assurance (QA) training to the program team to ensure understanding and adherence to QA objectives.
- Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal QA quality processes, procedures, and activities; risk management; and non-conformance management.
- Establish and manage the program's internal audit schedule.
- Partner and collaborate with program/task leaders to ensure audit readiness.
- Perform internal audits and gap analyses relative to contract processes, procedures and deliverables.
- Generate and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) plans per internal audits and project/task findings.
- Partner with program members to manage timely address and adjudicate stale and stagnant Risks and CAPAs.
- Partner with the program members to ensure corrective action plans and risk mitigation plans are implemented.
- Assist (as needed) with external audits.

Bachelors degree in related field (quality, engineering or business); or 5‑9 years of experience in quality.
