Lead a Team. Drive Production. Make an Impact! We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead a large manufacturing team in a fast-paced, growing production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys developing employees, improving production processes, solving problems, and driving operational success.

Location: Greencastle, IN
Pay: $65,000–$75,000 per year
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily production operations and lead a team of 60+ manufacturing employees.
• Assign employees to workstations, delegate responsibilities, and ensure proper staffing to meet production goals.
• Monitor production schedules, workflow, materials, and staffing to keep operations running efficiently.
• Maintain a visible presence on the production floor, providing direction and support to employees and team leads.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while addressing attendance, performance, and accountability concerns.
• Monitor production output and inspect products to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to minimize downtime and resolve operational challenges.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve equipment performance.
• Develop and maintain work instructions and production procedures.
• Ensure employees follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.

What We're Looking For

• 3–5+ years of manufacturing supervisory or management experience.
• Previous experience leading a production team, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing large teams, multiple production lines, or team leads is highly preferred.
• Strong employee management skills, including coaching, training, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to manage production schedules, labor allocation, workflow, and daily output goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement improvements.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and workplace safety practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will also be considered.
