Location: Greencastle, IN —
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 / year

As a Sous Chef, you will support the success of our culinary operations by overseeing food preparation, assisting with kitchen management, and ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Your role includes planning, ordering, inventory, and leading back‑of‑house staff in line with client expectations, health regulations, and company standards.

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals across multiple stations.
• Help plan menus and introduce new culinary programs in partnership with marketing and culinary teams.
• Monitor and help manage food and labor costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Supervise, train, and develop culinary staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 5 years of culinary experience, including 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
• Background in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, healthcare, military, or similar food service settings.
• Strong knowledge of culinary trends, food safety, and cost controls.
• Ability to manage production schedules and kitchen operations.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Serv Safe or Department of Health certification preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Associate degree in Culinary Arts preferred.
