RN Wound Nurse Responsibilities:
Provide wound care and treatment to residents
Assess, monitor, and document wounds and skin conditions
Develop and follow individualized wound care treatment plans
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team
Educate and support nursing staff on wound prevention and proper wound care practices
Help ensure compliance with wound care policies and clinical standards
Qualifications & Experience Requirements for RN Wound Nurse:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License
Previous Wound Care experience required
Wound Care Certification preferred
Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
