Summary: The Project Coordinator facilitates the smooth execution of project activities by supporting project managers and teams with coordination, documentation, and process management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Coordinate project schedules, including resource allocation and deadlines; monitor adherence to timelines.
- Organize and facilitate project‑related meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure that all necessary project materials are available.
- Manage project communications, act as a point of contact for project updates, and distribute information to the project team.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project schedules.
- Assist with quality control processes, ensuring compliance with company standards and project specifications.
- Resolve issues that affect project scope, schedule, and quality.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; significant work experience in project management or related field can substitute for education.
- 3+ years of experience in a project support or administrative role, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
